Yay! It’s Friday. Hope you’ve had a great week.
As I mentioned, I’ve been trying super hard to get back into a regular routine in January. I’m happy to report that I’ve already made it to the gym 4 times this week and have already completed 2 out of my 5 planned runs for the week. I also brought my lunch 3 times this week (this is huge for me when I get out of routine). I’m still struggling with the whole getting out of bed on time to my alarm and being productive in the morning but I’ll take it. Baby steps people!
1. Do you exercise in the morning an on empty stomach? This article caught my eye this morning and might interest you. Apparently that habit might help you burn 20% more body fat. I eat breakfast if I’m doing something intense or long, but if I’m just headed out for a quick run, I’ll typically grab a glass of water and go.
2. Do you heart avocados like I do? Then you might want to check out this Globe and Mail article about the nutrition and health of avocados. Its mostly good news!
