Fridays are typically hectic around here, so I’ve designated them round-up days where I’ll share interesting articles, pictures, quotes, etc. that I’ve been reading this week. Enjoy the first edition!
1. Working out is good for the brain AND the heart – The Globe & Mail provides a great piece on the benefits physical fitness provides to other parts of you than your body and ability to fit into those skinny jeans.
2. Strength Training for Runners – A favourite blog of mine, No Meat Athlete, gives runners some tips on strength training runners should be doing that can help prevent injury. I’m guilty of not doing this as much as I should, so hopefully it sinks in this time!
3. Running pants for Montreal Winters – Dare I say these running pants are likely applicable to most of Canada?
